Feedback Restaurant Feature - Freshii

Freshii is a household name - you can spot them on virtually every corner of Toronto, feeding the city’s hungry people one healthy dish at a time, and you can find our featured location at 1250 Bay St. offering 20% off between 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

In additional to their incredible healthy food, one of the many reasons we’re excited to have Freshii as a partner is because of their commitment to sustainability. In the quick service restaurant industry, Freshii is leading the way with their Mission Green initiative.

You know those plastic bags that they shake their salads in?

The packaging is made from biodegradable corn & potato resin, which according to Freshii's site, reduces their carbon footprint 5 to 7 times more than the most energy efficient dishwashers - pretty awesome.

The Food:

Keeping in line with its name, Freshii offers sinfully delicious dishes that won’t have you poke a new hole in your belt. Keep your wallet thick and your waist slim with tasty options like the Zen Salad, and the Teriyaki Twist Bowl - brown rice, edamame, crispy wontons, broccoli, carrots, cucumber, green onions, sesame seeds and teriyaki sauce, which can be yours for $5.91 – if you want to add chicken pay less than $2.00 more at $7.72.

If handheld options are more up your alley then indulge in the savory Smokehouse Burrito with Chicken – brown rice, aged cheddar, black beans, red onions, tomatoes, corn, spicy yogurt sauce and chicken. You won’t believe you can get this for $7.56, but believe it, it’s real.

They offer a vegetarian option at only $5.76…crazy I know. Finally, one of my favourites is the Buffalo Wrap with Tofu – romaine lettuce, carrots, celery blue cheese, cherry tomatoes, tofu with buffalo and ranch dressing for $7.33! It’s like being at the Superbowl, if the Superbowl was a decadent and fresh tofu burrito!
